How it works
Three moves, then it's ready
The whole cycle takes about ten seconds once you've done it twice. The hook tool for clearing the tube is in the box.
Load the paper
Drop a piece of flash paper into the tube and push it to the bottom with the rod. Do this with the toggle off.
Arm the toggle
Slide the toggle at the base from off to on. Until you do, the fire button does nothing at all.
Press and point up
The silent button fires the charge. Aim into open air, well clear of people and anything that burns.

What buyers say

Better than I expected
I've had cheap ones before and they felt like toys. This has real weight and the flame is instant every time.

The safety switch sold me
I carry props in a kit bag so the double switch mattered. Toggle stays off until I'm on stage.

Arrived gift-ready
Bought it for my brother and didn't even need to wrap it. The box is genuinely nice.
Questions
Questions people ask first
Is the fire real?
Yes. It burns a small piece of flash paper, producing a bright flame that's gone in under a second. It is a real flame and everything on this page about handling it applies.
How many shots per charge?
A full charge lasts through a long session — in practice the limit is how much flash paper you have, not the battery.
Can I take it on a plane?
The wand is a battery device and follows normal rules for those. Flash paper is a pyrotechnic consumable and is not permitted in hold or cabin baggage. Buy it at your destination.
Is it suitable for children?
No. This is an adult prop. Anyone under 18 should only handle it with an adult supervising, and it should never be given to a child to use alone.
Where do I get more flash paper?
Any magic supply shop stocks it, online or in person. It's inexpensive and one pack lasts a long time.
